Traditionally rendang is served on special occasions such as Hari Raya (Eid), when a cow is ritually slaughtered and then cooked for the whole village. Chocolate, Chilli & Peanut Brownie

Naughty and nice all at the same time. For this recipe we find natural sweetness from dates, date syrup and sweet potatoes, and the tasty fats come from coconut oil and peanut butter. The sweet potatoes keep the cakes really moist, and also happen to be really good for you. You can see by their orange colour that they are a great source of beta-carotene, which is a precursor to Vitamin A.
