Maria's Peri-Peri Chicken with Angolan Jollof Rice and Roasted Broccoli

This recipe has been gifted by Maria de Castro. She lives in Fellows Court, E2 and works in Rotherhithe School. The recipe comes from her hometown, Luanda, the capital of Angola. Instead of a scotch bonnet, we use sweet and smoky paprika as well as cayenne pepper to keep the dish milder. If you want to spice it up, pop half a scotch bonnet in the marinade!
