This delicious recipe is designed by Neil Harte. Neil backed our Kickstarter project helping to get Make Kit off the ground! This is one of his favourite dishes to cook at home. It’s all about caramelising the sausage meat, flavouring it with freshly ground fennel and chilli and further caramelising using apple and lemon juice to make a rice sauce that coats the pasta. To balance the plate, the fusilli is served with a side of roasted fennel, tomato and rocket.

1 MK fusilli spice mix: 1 tbsp oregano, 2 tsp crushed fennel seeds, 1/2 tsp chilli flakes
Parsley

You need: olive oil, cooking oil, salt, and pepper
